I'm trying to access BSE resources using WSDL protocol. My SOAP client loads wsdl definitions from successfully, but trying to execute any request (even argument-less getGaussianCatalog) returns in results "Request not allowed from host" exception. What could be the reason?

Below is the sample answer from server.
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:xsi="" xmlns:xsd="" xmlns:soapenv="" xmlns:bse="">
     <bse:getGaussianCatalog soapenv:encodingStyle=""/>
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="" xmlns:xsd="" xmlns:xsi="">
        <faultstring>java.rmi.RemoteException: Request not allowed from host</faultstring>
           <ns1:hostname xmlns:ns1="">gnode2</ns1:hostname>

With regards,
Marcin Makowski

Hi Marcin,

To be honest, I don't know what the problem is. What I do know is that we haven't yet written something that would allow you to access the BSE in this way. I will forward your question to the people that manage this system. They should be able to say something more about this.

Best wishes, Huub
