Your User agreement states that you will protect the source code from
the general public. You are not allowed to redistribute the software
in any form. Please make sure the source code is protected by issuing
the following commands in the root NWChem directory (where this file
lives):

is this this required since the license is now opensource?

| No, that section in INSTALL is obsolete. There is no need to protect the source like that anymore as redistribution is covered by the ECL-2.0 (a free/open source license).

| We forgot to update the INSTALL file. As Ken points out in the previous post, the redistribution is covered by the ECL-2.0 license. Thanks for pointing this out.

| This offending section has now been removed from the INSTALL file and the updated version checked in. This updated version will become available the next time we update the distribution on the download page.
