There were no warnings or errors drying the installation process.

The program 'builder' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
 (Details: serial 2116 error_code 2 request_code 155 minor_code 24)
 (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
  that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
  To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
  option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
  backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

As per usual, at least in my case, the errors are impenetrable and I have no idea as to either the problems or the solutions!

I should state that the same version of Ecce does run in other Linux distributions in the same operating environment.

Now I have reported this problem on several occasions in the past, as evidenced to several of my earlier communications to this forum, without any replies.

I would really appreciate a solution to this problem!!!!
